Burger King

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Saw this commercial the other night. Hubby's comment was, "That is disturbing."

I actually met the King in person not too long ago:

Personally, the Hootie commercial with the phallic french fries (and of course the King) is my favorite.

Nice work, pal

Bad influence on kids...

I worked at an event today for my other job and saw this little girl about 4 going around yelling "I like square butts! Baby got back!" and her mom, embarrassed, shaking her head mumbling "Damn Sponge Bob", haha!

While I can't help but chuckle at the song, am I the only one who finds that just an odd branding choice to associate with a kids cartoon character? And here I had thought that Disney Mambo No. 5 was an odd choice....this BK ad takes the cake (or rather, the burger).

OMG that is so sicko weird and they could get a better character.
I saw that with mom at dinner I think and was like what the bleep is that.

It is a bleeping kids meal so where are the characters to say hi and get kids to come and buy the meal. What do they expect, some rapping idiot to go and eat the meal just to get a square butt thrill. Sure missed the audience and I am not sorry I quit eating there years ago.

That is one strange meal... I bet when they did it they wanted to have both Spongebob and the King together but didn't know how to do it. Links from that weird thing on Youtube leads to a pretty Japanese "Ronald McDonald's Daughter" ad I bet DrCorey would like seeing her better. :D:
