hehehe

That a GOOD point! Always hire the lawyer that WINS!!!!

but like a pp, was saying about citing the case, having spent a bit of time in court, I can tell you that its pretty rare that another country's precedent is cited here in the U.S., unless the case has an international nexus.

"Go ahead, I told him,"The police will laugh and tell YOU to behave, or they will take you away so you can be a problem for someone else!"
Obviously, he is still living here........
My brother did make and follow through on that bet. Police came, took a look at him, and said, "Let's see a mark."

Then, when it was just a little bit of red that would never become anything, he received a lecture on how if he wants protection, they can provide it for him. In jail.

Sadly, I am just young enough to remember teachers telling my class that if we ever got touched (not in a sexual way) or spanked and didn't like it, we should call the police.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

hehehehehe

The sad part about kids reporting abuse, is that the ones that need help are rarely the ones to report it!

Let the teachers take the little darlings home with them. I guarantee they'll be back with mom and dad within a week.

One of my friend's daughters works at a daycare. One morning the police came to the place to investigate abuse. The mother claimed that a worker was abusing her kid. The workers said that the lady was never there and neither was the kid. The police went back to the lady's home and found out that the kid was in elementary school. When the police got to the school to check on the kid. The kid had no bruises or anything.

Years ago,a fellow worker had taken his sons toys away for some reason I forget. His son called 911. When PCSD showed up,they reamed the kid a new one for wasting their time.

When I was young, my parents were strict. They had a time out chair in the corner of the kitchen. Who ever was bad, they went to sit in the chair. The longest I saw my cousin sit in the chair was 2 hours. He ticked off his mom and was sent to our house for a time out.

I was thinking if Nanny 9-1-1 came to Disneyland, she would be correcting parents and putting the kids in time out. I could see her correcting the families and kids in the big parking structure at Disneyland. ;)
