But in my opinion, still signifcantly better than the WDW version, "Move It! Shake it! Celebrate it!"

I saw a LOT of custodial cleaning up all of the Mickey balloon shaped confetti off of Main Street afterward- some was even tracked out to the Esplanade!

Not many favorable remarks on Main Street abt new parade. I've heard the music but have only seen parade from stores. Can only see tall parade CMs & floats. Not thrilled with the costumes. :( CM yesterday stated; "It doesn't do anything for me." This is the typical CM attitude overheard on Main Street. Many guests with small children aren't pleased because the parade targets teens & adults. I did hear a few small children singing I love R & R. Was kinda cool. Just doesn't seem to fit DL. Oh, I forgot - new parade is revamp from DCA. ;) Bet more than a few things will be changed before June.

Most of the parade route is standing only. Every video I see is a wall of standing people shoulder to shoulder. The tapes I have seen all make me want to run away and hide. For some people them costumes are way too skimpy. I do not need jump jive boogie and really am not thrillled by that kind of music.

Matter of fact I would get bored with any music event but really that type of music is history. I use a wheelchair or ECV so I would be in the disabled section or in pain standing in the crowd, I am skipping this fiasco.

I'm not sure who you've been talking to, but from what I observe (and I work physically on the route) small children love it. They are encouraged to get up and go out and dance, that's something we're generally trying to stop the kids from doing. The original songs might be more teen adult oriented, but they're re-done a bit and kids won't know what the songs are about or probably even recognize the originals when they come on the radio (heck it took me a while to figure what song they were doing for a couple of them) I think it's very small children oriented.

Have spoken with guests, overheard guests comment abt the parade, & general CM opinions. As I stated, I've never actually seen the parade - only tall floats, parade CMs on those floats, & parade CMs on stilts or whatever they are called. Today I did see Winnie The Pooh & Tigger on a float so now know some originals are out there. And yes, I am sure children love to dance when asked. You are right there doing GC so have seen all for almost a week. I haven't had a chance to go curb side. My post was simply my opinion & those of others I work with, + guest chatter. Some may be right, some might be wrong. Time will tell. :)

IMO, I don't like the "parade". It reminds me too much of High School Musical + Party Gras + Block Party + Light Tragic all rolled into one!!
