CELEBRATE! A Street Party!

Post by lady ulrike » Thu Mar 26, 2009 12:33 pm

So, I had the opportunity to observe this parade, legitimately. Since it doesn't start until Friday, I can't say much but let's just say, it's certainly not a calm, passive parade.

If it is anything like the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It! Street Party we have here it'll be a lot of fun and the guests will enjoy it.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…
and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

Ah. That's what I suspected.

I'm looking forward to it. It will be nice to have sometime new.

I'm sure that most guests will enjoy it.

It is similar to the new thing at the Magic Kingdom Park, however, I've heard ours is more techno-style in the music.

They did a review on it in the Times recently, and it looked cool. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

I can't wait to see it... from the Porch at Plaza Inn/out by the street as a guest...

I have a friend in the Parades Dept. and was told by someone from Stores, that he's going to be dancing in the parade... If anyone in Parades is lurking on here *giggle* Tell Matt, someone he knows who works at Plaza Inn said Cockadoodle doo! He'll know what that means.

Am looking forward to new parade. :) Guests have not been happy the last few weeks. We NEED happy guests, who in turn will stay, spend, & return. Main Street must have some fun & excitment - especially now. Bring on the 3:30 & 6:30 Celebrate Parade!

I don't think this new parade is going to make for happy guests. I mean those who manage to get viewing, but because of the nature of the parade (well, not a parade, a STREET PARTY!) the viewing is severely smaller than usual. Some of it guests are not allowed in and some of it guests can be in but they will see very little, if anything, of the parade.
