I clicked the link, but it said it wasn't available. Can you tell us what the article said?

I think CBC just rotated the article off your website, I found another copy, which is slightly more detailed in fact:

The Canadian Press/La Presse canadienne (via Google):
Cdn who wanted 'please' gets pepper spray from U.S. border guard

Wasn't there a Ferrari Testosterone?

This may have been what I read....but it's from 1995-yikes!

http://www.query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpa ... sec+health Forget it-can't seem to make link work-but it was a NYTimes article on-line about low levels of testosterone and aggression

In my search for the article I read, I encountered a number of articles that stated that testosterone level alone did not account for aggression, but other factors such as serotonin levels and situation were contributory. One article cited a study that handling a gun could cause men to become more aggressive. Low levels of testosterone will cause mood changes and anxiety in some-probably not a good time to hand them a weapon! ;)

Uh, you don't have to be gay to want that 75% off deal. I'd be neck in neck with you on that one.

No, but I'm pretty sure there was a commercial stating that the Ferrari could replace your testosterone.

That statement has not been tested by the FDA.

That sounds painful. Yikes!

I want the thread's title on a sign at the borders of the US. That would be funny.

That kinda reminds me of the Kate Walsh Cadillac CTS commercial...

Okay, now that I've read the article, that was excessive force. What I don't get is if he crosses the border that often, he should know to turn off his engine for inspection. He should have it down to an artform on what to do as he approaches the border. And again, he should know that U.S. Customs officers shouldn't be expected to be polite on request. It would be nice if the Border Patrol was polite, but anyone could have a bad day. Tear gas, handcuffing, half a dozen guys jumping on him for just asking for "please"? Excessive force, right there. But the guy spoke to the guard, and said he seemed to be sorry for his actions.

But really, at most the guard should have said, "Turn off your engine, please." The first time.
