The one at WDW still has the nickname of "PeopleMaker" for that reason.

yeah, i've been on that one, but it's not exactly what the people movers in disneyland were.

-Lowers her glasses slighty down her knows and peers over them- Actually WDW's People Mover is called Tomorrowland Tranist Authority (TTA) so even if it's nicknamed the People Maker it is no longer the People Mover....

Look Duckies!
These are the rafts TO the island. Not AROUND, not OVER, not UNDER and not THROUGH. Thank you for riding T. Saywer's shuttle service please visit again.

Come on down! Just be aware our PeopleMaker isn't as cool as the Disneyland version. Ours doesn't don't wind around over the Autopia tracks, plus the whole thing is dead flat.
OTOH, it's rarely crowded, so you just twirl one finger in the air as you approach unload and go around again. Some friends of mine spend nearly a whole day on a TTA-A-Thon, going around some 27 times!
... and the other idots that failed to make rocket rods an attraction that worked properly.
Yeah, only rode that once and wondered how they managed to screw that up so badly. The pre-show was better than the show! If they'd cut that budget any shorter they would have had CMs pushing the stupid carts around the track.
At least
that would have been more reliable.

I remember one day when I was waiting for a friend of mine to get off of work I decided to take a short trip on the TTA, ended up falling asleep, and woke up about an hour and a half later. At least by then my friend was off of work, but it wasn't so bad because it was when I worked there.

LOL!! I know ... I remember thinking the stand in line was better than the actual go-round in a Rocket Rod. But that cracks me up....
I say we bring the People Mover back! I have some good memories of that attraction....

I know a few people are going to hate me for this, but I call the People Mover track the Rocket Rods track. People Mover ended before I was born, I think...
I've pulled stuff on Pirates. But fully clothed. I'm glad we didn't go too far, now that I know you people watch.
Learning from experience, wait until Pirates has done the two drops first.
Anywho... You guys need to check out disneylies.com, an entire section dedicated to disneyland naughtiness.. :D:
How do people manage anything on Mansion? The bar is lowered by our ghostly friends, right?
Legend: Alligators dwell in the sewers beneath Disneyland.
Truth: There are no sewers below Disneyland, and therefore no alligators in them. The secret tunnels are infested with mutant rats, however.
