Yup ... just cause you stick a kid in there means they will come out all perfect. My childhood best friend went to catholic school all her life but is not at all nun like or holy. In high school she often went to clubs and bars, stole, trespassed, smoked, engaged in pre-marital sex, swore, etc.Big Wallaby wrote:That one could be the kindness of the school. I know one girl when I was in high school that, money-wise she would be considered to have no business going to school there, but I am so glad she did. She was a great contribution to the society of the school... until she went off the deep end at the beginning of our Senior year, ran away, turned 18, got pregnant and married, divorced and a few other statuses... all before Graduation.
Even my college buddy attended a Christian school all his life and he is no where the all perfect saint. He's a downright goth - wears black, goes to goth clubs, loves his long black trench coat, smokes, listens to alternative rock and garage bands, and thinks his car talks to him.
Yup Yup ... It's ain't the school you stick em in, it's the kid them self.
