Birthday Don'ts

Post by GuestJockey » Thu Feb 12, 2009 12:09 am

DON'T ask me "So what does THIS get me?" after I hand you your birthday button.

DON'T ask me to give you a free ticket on a day that isn't your birthday. I can't do it. I don't care if it's raining. I don't care if it's a school day. I don't care if your brother's birthday is today and yours is tomorrow. I don't care if your husband was in surgery (OK, i do care, but I still can't help.) I can ONLY give you a free ticket ON your ACTUAL birthday.

DON'T come into City Hall and ask for the Birthday Fun Card after you already got in free. It's one or the other, don't try to put one over on us.

DON'T claim you don't have any ID except your AP, use the AP as proof of birthday to get in free, then go home and call the AP hotline saying "You've got the wrong birthday on my file, it's actually NEXT weekend" and try it all over again next weekend.

DON'T try to argue that a photocopy of the certified copy of your kid's birth certificate should count the same as the actual certified copy. That's the whole point of the certification!

DON'T choose the birthday Fastpass option with 40 minutes to park closing! DUH! Take the money!!!

DON'T complain that you don't qualify for the Fun Card because you got in today on a CM comp ticket, especially if YOU'RE a CM!!!

I'm sure I'll think of more, but these were the ones that came up today. It's gonna be a LONG year!

That last one is... just kinda... wow.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

In one day?!?! Wow! Keep a list and post all of them after a month. We can have a contest for the most creative, dopiest, least creative, most likely to get you fired, etc.

I'm not suffering from the birthday ticket, but, if you print your ticket at home, and that piece of paper says in big letters-"This is your ticket"

IT'S YOUR TICKET!

I have seen SG claim that they get everything for free.

Seriously, you are not special and nothing comes for free in these parks.

Pull some cash out or charge it on your credit cards.

DCA does give you free Mission Tortilla Factor gives out a free bag of tortillas on your birthday. That is your free gift.

No free refils on the popcorn carts, they don't do that.

No free refils on drinks at the fast food locations only if you serously spilled your drink.

Don't try to bring in a birthday cake, you can't hold it and watch your kid at the same time. It is a safety hazard.

It is my birthday so I get a free ECV, free tour, and front of the line for all rides and shows. I also get dinner at the Blue Bayou free.

Don't worry about the spots as Junior is not contagious. It is his birthday so he should party at DLR for free even if they think it is chicken pox.

Jeez, just being able to go to one of the Parks on my birthday is ENOUGH!!!!

DW thinks its funny that everyone tell me happy birthday!! (yes, I wear the badge, but only on my ACTUAL birthday)

Last year I made a point of doing that to everyone else wearing a birthday badge. Did get some STRANGE looks from people, so maybe it wasn't their birthday? (course a pirate wishing you Happy Birthday MAY put some people off!! heheheheheheh)
