Welcome to Lego ... erm, Disneyland

Post by Mad Maxx » Wed Feb 11, 2009 5:28 am

So I got a new one from an SG the other night. I was walking into the front gate of the park to go to lunch and a mother of a family of four stops me and asks if they get in free the last hour. I asked her what she meant by free because of the whole Birthday thing going on. She the proceeds to tell me that "Well, we are from Oceanside and Legoland lets you in free the last hour that the park is open." It took a lot of restraint to not just blake stare or say "Well, welcome to Disneyland" to her. I just politely informed her that "Unfortunately, we do not have anything like that here at Disneyland." And she just goes "Oh, well, it never hurts to ask." Yeah...

I mean, common, if we did that, you know what a zoo the park would be for the last hour of operation every day. I know it is a neat idea and all, but I don't think a park as popular as Disneyland could ever offer something like that. Heck, I think Knotts would be hard pressed to offer something like this and have an easy time doing it.

It never ceases to amaze me what people ask...

I've seen this when working turnstiles at Epcot and DHS when people want to come in before closing to see IllumiNations or Fantasmic! and do not have hoppers.

I haven't worked at the Nazi Fairy Farm, I mean Knott's Berry Farm, since Dec. 2005, but if I remember right, during the summer, if you come into the park after 4 p.m., it's half price. Maybe Dazyhill or another KBFer can confirm or clarify.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

I, still stuck working at Nazi Fairy Farm (that's a good one), can confirm that Nazi,err-Knott's Berry Farm does still have a after 4pm price during the summer.
