It's a club? I want to join.

Just gotta learn Morse Code... but I've wanted to for a long time anyway...

Yes. If I remember correctly, the two lowest levels of license no longer require code.

Indeed. I have had my technician license for five years this month. I could never have passed the morse requirement. It's a wonder I passed everything else. But I do know how to use a radio, proper etiquette and frequencies, etc.

I have been considering getting a license. I don't have any equipment at all. Do you recommend getting one?

Wow, learing Morse code is easy!! I did it in a week.

ended up 22.5/25 on a standard key, and a manual typewriter.

(of course, it was in the Navy and I went through the infamous "shout week" to learn the basic)

I know you don't have to... but I want to.

Hey, if I can learn my pylons, Morse shouldn't be too hard.

Dit and dah were what we used.

reminds me of a "cheer" when I was learning it.

Three dits,
four dits,
two dits,
and a dah,

sit down, stand up
raw raw raw!!!

hehehehehehe
