Yes, but it wouldn't end well for him.

This thread reminded me of when I am sure several CM's at this attraction labeled me as a SG. I had DS (he was either 8 months old or 15 months old - all the trips run together) and he was sleeping on my shoulder. DH and I were waiting for the show (we had seen it before), and a CM approached us and warned us about it being loud, etc. I thanked them and told them we would be fine, as DS sleeps through anything. A few minutes later, another CM came to warn us of the same thing. Same thanks in response and explanation. Finally two of them came back together and once more suggested that we may want to leave because of DS. I am still smiling and laughing (as I really, honestly appreciated the advice - I'm sure I'd feel the same way seeing a woman holding onto a sleeping baby knowing that explosions would soon follow). We once again explained it, and said if he were to wake up and create a disturbance, we would leave immediately (we were sitting almost at the back, and on the end of our row). Of course we were correct - not even a blink on his part throughout the entire show.

To this day, DS (now 6) sleeps through anything. We actually vacuum his room at night while he is in bed asleep - lights on and everything. Of course the downside to this ability to sleep so hard includes a) he still wears goodnight's to bed because he can't wake himself up to go potty; and b) should there ever be a fire, he wouldn't wake up to the alarm - its gone off before (false alarm) and we got no response whatsoever!

Now I'm taking this thread OT... sorry... Case in point - I am willing to bet that my face showed up on the SG wall of shame for the day!

Not really seeing anything SG ish. Now if you were near center, center row, with a screaming monster and not thinking of leaving, THAT would be an SG.

Never apologize for taking a thread off-topic. It's a regular occurance here.
In fact, since the marsupials have already welcomed you, I'll give you the Safety Speil:

Please keep your arms and legs inside the ride vehicle (thread) at all times.
Your ride vehicle may experience a sudden change in direction.
If your ride vehicle changes direction, it may never go back to it's original course.
This is normal and is no cause for alarm.
Thank you for riding SGT and have a stupidity free day.

My dad does that too. He has fallen asleep, in line, standing up, on the wall at Dueling Dragons. And it's not like the line was stopped.

narcoleptic?

I had a guy working for me that would fall asleep in mid-sentence. First couple of times we all thought it was a joke. Then it happened during a situation that we could not ignore it. He was let go!!

Sounds like you've been hanging around long enough to know that we worry if a thread doesn't go OT! :D:

Hey, I could learn German, be the German guy, do the stunts, climb around, do more stunts, and get stuck in the trap door.

Now THAT would be entertaining... so long as I learned to duck.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Getting hit by the propellers is not a problem. They are very lightweight and are designed that if they hit anything they come off the hub immediately. I have seen that happen in shows. Not very often, but it does happen.

Pit Latin is surprisingly effective!

When I needed guests to sit down on the train, I used a sequence of languages:

"Please sit down!"
"¡Setente se por favor!"
"Setzen sie sich, bitte!"

and finally

"Itsay ownday easepay!"

For some reason, that last one always worked, but only if preceded by the other three. Go figure!
