Wendy, I can't find your email, so this is your reminder.

Memory serve me right, it's of the Magic Kingdom Park, but I believe it just sort of starts and goes from there.

On that note, are you planning one in late May, Zazu? And if you aren't, can I entice you to *pearly eyes*? I'm doing Keys to the Kingdom for the ("legal") backstage views, but I just know that yours is so much better :D: .

It's my tour of the Magic Kingdom, focusing on details, backstories, history, and theme park design. We look at the lessons learned from Disneyland, lessons still to be learned, and how all of the elements of the park work together to cause guests to glaze over they way they do. When I get it right, you walk away with a new way of looking at theme parks in general and the MK in particular.

The tour begins with breakfast, usually at the Kona Cafe at 7:45am, enters the Park around 9am, and lasts another two to ten hours, depending on your stamina. Most end in time to escape the park before the afternoon parade at 3pm. We may pause for lunch or snacks if you remind me (or I pass out).

There is no charge for the tour (other than your own meals), and both cast and guests are welcome. I will not provide Main Gate pass entry, but I will bring my TIW card to help non-cast with the cost of breakfast. The entire tour is on stage, and the number of tour guests is limited so as to avoid disruption of the park experience for other guests.

I can and will run a tour almost any day I'm free. Friday's is the only one currently scheduled. Tours in late May will have to be on the 22nd or earlier, as I'm boarding the Disney Magic on the 23rd.

Guests are invited to IM for details or to schedule a tour; please don't clog this public forum with such.

unfortunately, I work later in the day. I'm definitely interested in taking your tour though. I'll keep an eye out for another chance!

I'd like to get one together for a Tuesday or Wednesday. I work Fridays. Hey, if the group is small enough and stays late enough, bring them to the Monorail platform, and get a front cab ride.

Of course, you have to find me at TTC most of the time...

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

I second that for the same reason. I've been wanting to go on one of your regular Misguided Tours since you gave me the one with the emphasis on Main Street when I started at Disney.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

I want to go on one sometime, but do not want to renew my AP. I am hoping to be a seasonal CM sometime in the near future and would then need to go. Unless Doctor McKey or somebody wants to maingate me...

I wish I lived closer or could afford to visit more often -- it's hard to convince a family to use limited hours for a tour, no matter how worthwhile, when we can only visit WDW every few years and even then don't see everything we want to see. <sigh> Someday, Zazu.

I would make time, however the next trip includes Jill's family. I am lucky I'll be able to get away for the Steam Train tour again!
