Having purged and puked and lost a new shirt in an airport means to me the need to lug tons of gluten free food with me.felinefan wrote:Sprouts markets have tons of gluten-free stuff. I don't know if they have Sprouts stores anywhere outside of California--I'll have to look-- but if there was one in Texas, you could buy your own stuff without having to lug it through the airport.
We do indeed have a Sprouts near us and it is close to DFW airport! That is where we shop for our veggies, fish and sometimes beef/chicken. They also have a great roasted garlic hummus, and a hawaiian hazelnut coffee that has coconut infuzed. I don't get any of the hazelnut, but lots of the coconut. So yummy...felinefan wrote:Sprouts markets have tons of gluten-free stuff. It's been a while since I was there, but I can give you some basic information. However, stuff may have changed (especially with transportation), and rules may have changed, so consider everything herein ballpark.FD.S wrote:Thank you for the link. It seems that if i go in as an extern with my college i'll be housed and put together with college program people as well. Can anyone give me a headsup on housing or what i should look out for? I only ask because i feel like sometimes the information they give isn't the entire story. Thank you! :)
