Re: Can I keep it?
Believe it or not, I get guests (Besides asking if they could drive the monorail) that want to take my monorail key home as a sovenior.
I literally had a guest demanded that I hand over my key to him right now. so being the smartass that I am, I replied "alright, sir, I'll handover my key if you can answer a question correctly."
He agreed, thinking I was going to ask him something like "how fast does a monorail go, or how many monorails we have"...nope I asked him "what is the correct procedure for a brake failure?"
Besides asking if that has ever happened (which it does rarely), he said nothing and walked away.

Bad SG! Bad SG! To make it unsafe for the kid and to make a major fool of yourself. If I were to see something like that at the parks, I would report it to security quickly.

People want to take or trade for our Monorail wings all the time. Uh, NOOOO!
As it is, I've lost several for whatever reason, and I figure eventually Costuming's gonna be after me for selling them on eBay.
Of course, you all know that I wouldn't, and I think my managers would be surprised if I was being accused, but do you thing Costuming cares who they accuse of something so not-Cast-Member-like? Nor do I.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

I am suprised they are not numbered, and they make you sign for whatever one(s) are assigned to you!Big Wallaby wrote:People want to take or trade for our Monorail wings all the time. Uh, NOOOO!

That WOULD be a good idea, except that when I leave Monorails (not for good) in about eighteen months and go to Jungle Cruise, I want to keep my wings.GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:I am suprised they are not numbered, and they make you sign for whatever one(s) are assigned to you!
Also, my Area Manager is really cool. For the Disneyland trip, she is collecting wings that I can take with me to give to DL Monorail Pilots.

Following your career path based on altitude, when will you move to Submarines? Does Disney have any plans for a spelunking attraction? If you ever decided on moving you could always get a job in Underground Atlanta.Big Wallaby wrote:That WOULD be a good idea, except that when I leave Monorails (not for good) in about eighteen months and go to Jungle Cruise, I want to keep my wings.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.
