Hey There CM's.
I was at WDW this past week, and at the Magic Kingdom they were doing some kind of work on the castle.
Now.....I was urious about what was on the back of an open door, and tried to get a picture, but it ended up really blurry.
I figure since it was open, and I got a shot, that it would be fair game to ask what was on it - (and realizing that I may not get any info or nobody knows :D :)
The shot was taken from the left side of the front of the castle.

I am not an expert on the layout, but it looks to me like you got a really blurry shot of an exit!

That, is a door that leads right to CRT. The seaters (and some of the stewards) use that door to store items (dangerously and wrongly) outside.
On a side note, I'd love to know WHEN the picture was taken. maybe i can finally persuade my managers to keep that door locked at all times.

One pyro effect misfiring and burning anything stored out there will probably correct that situation.

I'm sure that your pyros have to do show reports and they would not like to put the castle in jeopardy because of something being stored out there.
You could always point out to your manager that the door is visible from onstage and it is distracting to the guests. It could be very ugly in a vacation photo since the castle get photographed from every angle the guests can get to.

That door is bad show. I believe it should be closed at all times.

IIRC, the sign on the door itself cautions about entering the area during the fireworks show. It is similar to the one on the door leading to the Utilidor behind Snow White and Pooh.
Oh, and the work they were doing was completing the removal of the Christmas Dream lights.

How do you catch the Castle on fire? I have never thought it could be done. I thought it is hosed down afterwards?
