I'm the Orlando Getaways Examiner

Post by Syndrome » Fri Jan 09, 2009 5:19 pm

Fun stuff! I'm now the Orlando Getaways Examiner (basically a travel reporter for examiner.com). I mostly do magazine work, so I'm really enjoying this because I can write about anything related to Orlando travel that I want. That leaves things pretty wide open, and it's like relaxation for me compared to the magazine stuff.

Check out my articles: http://www.examiner.com/x-2200-Orlando- ... s-Examiner

I try to add a new one every day, and I'm trying not to make it too Disney-heavy.

Personally I think they should have an Orlando Stupid Guest Examiner, but hey, that's what this forum is for.

You should do one on pub crawls. Darph will forever be in your debt.

If you decide to do one of those about Portland, I'll help you set it up.

I think to meet the varying tastes of the SFT members you shouls have a Drink Yourself Silly Around the World Tour. I could have iced tea and soda pop, felinefan can have some milk, and the drunks can have rum, wine, beer, and gin.

We could do a DLR pub crawl from the hotels to Club 33 then down to DCA then over to the the Grand Floridian for nightcaps. I figure you all will be so snockered that you will not notice that we flew to WDW and that us nonboozers are using your credit cards to see WDW for free, muahaha.

No need to get drunk, until you introduce the Lapu Lapus. From there it's a wildcard.

As far as wine goes, I can take you north to the Portland area for that as well. The nonboozers should enjoy the limo ride and the wine country itself.

Just remember to tip your limo driver (me) well.

I am a nonboozer so what is so special for us nonboozers up in Portland?
I have been on one limo ride in New York City and that was fun. No drinking and driving though. You are on hun, DLR and WDW then Portland.

Is this turning into another road trip thread?

I think it would be faster to make the a jet get away trip than a road trip after the last fiasco besides how would we drive to Hawaii?
