On Dec. 8th I was invited to the Disney showcase. Normally this is sitting in a room with dozens of other hotel employees learning about what is coming for the new year.

Not this year! This year, we went on a scavenger hunt that encompassed parts of Disneyland, DCA and DTD. We had 2 hours to answer specific questions and then turn it in.

Now, since I have been raised on Disney, worked at Disney and now have an annual pass, most of the questions I stood there and answered. We did go to a few of the locations for the ones I wasn't quite sure of. But my group said that they were amazed at how much I knew and we answered every single question. The ones I didn't know right away they asked me what do we do? I said you ask a Cast Member. LOL!

I saw other groups that were lost but my group had to run to keep up with me as I knew where to go. That was pretty funny since the ones in my group had not dressed casual and wore high heel shoes. But hey, they told me to go so I did.

We turned out to be the 4th group to return our packet. We each received 2 1 day park hopper tickets. Yay! Which is what we usually get and that's awesome.

Imagine my surprise today when I come into work. I get told I need to go and see my manager. Okay...

She says she has something for me. She hands me this little envelope. Inside is a voucher for an Annual Pass! I have the So Cal one, but this one is the Premium one with hardly any blackouts.

Wow, really? I ask her why am I getting this. Turns out that our group was the only group to get every single question correct, so we won the Grand Prize. Which they had not told anyone about since they didn't think anyone would actually win it.

I about cried. This was so incredible! My pass expires in April, so now all we have to get is a renewed pass for Jack.

I'm feeling pretty good today. Yeah, pretty damn good.
