Re: Question about Line Jumpers/cutters
I have been reading some of the different opinions on this thread about this whole line thing. Sometimes I like to hear different opinions on a subject. As for my opinions about this whole line thing (If I have any) I will keep that to myself for right now.
I just wanted to bring up something about the soda thing. Well sometimes soda can make you even more thirsty. On a really hot day, sometimes I stay away from soda. I am sure that a lot of people just love to drink soda on a hot day and that is fine with me. I am just saying that when I am thirsty on a very hot day, I find that the the water fountain works much better for me than soda :) For one thing I am one of those people who drinks a lot of water anyways. When I am really thirsty there is no other drink on this earth that comes even close to being as good as pure water :)

Water is definitely better for hydration, but then you will need more bathroomlittle skunk wrote:I have been reading some of the different opinions on this thread about this whole line thing. I always bring a water bottle, drink it down, then keep it to refill, and I bring those little packets of drink mix to flavor it since it tastes better than Anaheim Tap.

Umm, actually water is much better than a soda for hydration.
The caffine in soda acts as a direuertic. Not good.
I remember this lesson from a LONG LONG time ago, they sent a bunch of us to a desert survival school, and they talked about how fast heat stroke, dehydration, and so on can kill you. Very eye opening. Thats when I got my first camelbak (hydrate or die!) When drinking water alone in a hot enviroment. you will urinate less. we were in the high desert, north of Las Vegas, and we each were required to consume two to three of the 2quart canteens we were given. (the Military gave us a bunch of gear!)
we were drinking and drinking, and didn't have to go to the restroom the entire day. (the sweat was evaporating as soo as it hit your skin!)
ITS A DRY HEAT!!!!! hehehehehehehe

Yes, but is it as good in Anaheim as Lake Buena Vista?DisneyMom wrote:I bring those little packets of drink mix to flavor it since it tastes better than Anaheim Tap.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Depends on how accustomed one is to caffeine. The more accustomed one is, that is to say, the higher one's caffeine resistance the more water they can retain from caffeinated products. The 'it has to be water' rule is a fallacy which has been debunked by Snopes.GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Umm, actually water is much better than a soda for hydration.

The Snopes article is interesting. I'm curious about one thing it doesn't address, though -- I'd always heard that the reason sodas weren't as good for hydration was not the caffeine content, but the sodium.Mayonnaise wrote:Depends on how accustomed one is to caffeine. Water is important but you also need to be concerned with sodium and electrolytes. Especially on hot days.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

This is why there are minifridges full of Gatorade backstage at all character locations.hobie16 wrote:Water is important but you also need to be concerned with sodium and electrolytes. Especially on hot days.
