Was it Mae West who asked W.C. Fields "Is that a banana in your pocket...?"
"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."

and she said, is that a ferret in your pocket,
or are you just really happy to see me. I said, both.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Thats easy. I have multiple browsers open, I post, then go to another browser and read and post on other boards, or switch (KVM) to another computer and read e-mail or write or scan other things.Ms. Matterhorn wrote:

Off topic: What does everyone do while waiting 150 seconds between posts? Grumpy Pirate, any ideas?
I picked up my knitting while waiting to post this one. Of course, you can always add nonsense like I'm doing right now and go on and on and on. Are my 150 seconds up yet? Let's see....
As an example. I am converting some LP's to CD's for a friend, so that he dosn't have to get a turntable to play the older albums. That computer is the one that I have the Ion turntable hooked up and the software to convert it, installed on. I don't usually get on boards on that system.

Re: More Ebay/FP madness
Upper left hand corner I think? Why don't they just make it require a key to print overrides? Or a RFID tag that would let you track it to the cast member that used it.Big Wallaby wrote:It would be far to easy if you know where the override is (sadly not hard to find) to print override tickets, which don't look that different from regular tickets...

They do. Unfortunately, many attractions keep at least one FP machine unlocked. Also bear in mind that FP Distribution usually doesn't get picked up by CDS until after the park has been open for about an hour.kurtisnelson wrote:Upper left hand corner I think? There's no legit way to do what the eBay seller is doing. According to my local Shop Steward, Disney feels that printing overrides like that is theft of company property (and he just had a case where a seasonal CM was termed when she was caught keeping ReAds at FP Merge -- same thing).

Legally it is theft if a person takes a fastpass when they are not entitled to get one. Using the override button would be also a violation of company policy and would mean the guest was going where they were not allowed. A guest cannot be touching buttons they are not allowed to like the override. It may be only a fastpass but it is a piece of cardstock that is stolen. You can steal pixels, time, and other nontangible things.ThunderCat wrote:They do. Unfortunately, many attractions keep at least one FP machine unlocked. I hope he gets his just reward.

or we could have the SGT Arcade room!DisneyMom wrote:We only get fastpasses for Space Mountain, as we get there at park opening and pretty much walk on everything else we like....
Good question, what to do between posts....Maybe SGT can play a little Muzak or the theme from Jeopardy? ;)
Re: More Ebay/FP madness
I can see the claw game. Your glass container is filled with FP to any ride, you have to pay $5 each play. But the problem is: the claw has problems picking up flat objects. :D:

The Claw, and don't forget the hologram game. Basically, through advanced holography, you are made to believe that you will receive a button that will act as a FastPass for everything all day. It'll work until you try to pick it up.
