Yeah, that was my first theory too. But neither of those things happened in this thread, and it's a double-wide.

Next?
Oh, sorry - when you said "this thread" I thought you meant "the thread you had in mind" and not "this very thread (This Forum Looks Weird)"...

So I edited the post where i had a picture. Did that help? Is this thread normal width now?

And if you come across a thread that's extra wide, containing no pictures or long URLs, let me know - I'm curious now...

Yup, looks good and fits the screen ... at 1024x788 resolution. At any lower resolution it's still too wide.

Will do!

Oh, strange. I never noticed ('cause I usually have the window at full screen), but if I shrink my browser window a little bit, I get the scroll bars at the bottom, even though everything shrinks to compensate the smaller width. When I scroll over to the right, it's just empty space.

Just a bit strange - doesn't matter to me, 'cause there's no need to scroll over (all the content is spaced perfectly to match the width)...

Again, this is in Explorer. In Netscape, it's perfect.

"So why don't you just use Netscape, Dan?"

Netscape has its own limits on some web sites I go to. I really should just upgrade to OSX and use Safari (but I don't wanna spend all that money to upgrade all my software to OSX software)...

But like I said, this spacing thing doesn't bug me...

I'd leave Internet Exploder in a New York minute ... except that the Cast Portal won't work on anything else (that I've found).

Micro$oft and Disney -- the perfect explanation for Company email to be down three days/month!
