101 is Disney code for "An Attraction Is Down." or not working. Clean your ques & catch up during 101 or take a break
Or be stuck at Tower and have to answer the phone every 5 secs with the lead breathing down your neck.

I'm glad we don't have towers at classics, but we don't get to take a break either the two of us at our attractions are always doing something when we're 101.

We don't have tower at pooh either we have disbatch, which is like a mini tower. I've never been stuck there during a 101, but being stuck at greeter sucks. "When will it be open? Why is it closed" "We don't know check back, we're experienceing technical difficulties" Yeah some guest was too slow so they ride backed up and broke down

UGH.. I hate PR positions! everyone always asks the same questions over and over. It really sucks when we're cycling out Pan for pyro. Every single person asks, "Why is it closed...but why are people still in line"
and of course theres always
Q...so we can sit here for the fire works
A Nope
Q...oh okay can't you just let us go on were leaving after the fireworks
A Nope
...but this is our last ride of the night
Nope
...but we came all the way from (insert state or country here)
Nope
...please
No I'm sorry
Q... When are the fireworks...When will this reopen
A 9:25, around 10
Q...Where are they.
A In the sky

When stuck at greeter for a 101, I always tell guests the real reason we're down. My favorite is when we're down because of lightning -- a regular summer afternoon event. Image

When will you reopen?

We'll reopen about 20 minutes after the lightning goes away.

When will the lightning go away?

About 20 minutes before we reopen.

But when will you reopen?

About 20 minutes after the lightning goes away....

Some guests have to go around three or four times before they get the message. Makes it easy to keep smiling....
