My not one but two stupid guest tricks

Post by Mike08 » Sat Dec 27, 2008 8:46 pm

cool site. first post. figured i'd have a good laugh at my own expense.

ok so I was at WDW last week. second day of a five day trip i was on my way to see the Fantasmic show at Hollywood Studios. we were going up a hill and we were late so alot of people began to run. i thought that was a good idea so i started to run too. until i hit like a divet in the concrete and severely sprained my ankle. i was taken to the hospital in an ambulance and to the shock of everyone it wasnt fractured. it was however so severely sprained that i spent the rest of the vacation in a wheel chair. its still messed up.
i was there with my daughter and family and didnt want to ruin the vacation so i pushed on. or more like got pushed on. a couple days later i went on space mountain and got right to the front of the line thanks to my injury. well i told everyone keep your hands up the entire ride. which i did. but i was looking at the support beams overhead and saying to myself wow my hands are coming extremely close to them, ahhh must be the dark playin tricks on my eyes. im only six foot. well when we got to the end of the ride, the tunnel i said this is the same height as those support beams, were not going that fast let me see if i could really touch it. so i reached up and to my suprise touched it and nearly scrapped my finger prints off. burned like hell. but wasnt really more than a quick ouch. top that off with my daughter that is two decided to climb on a rail while waiting in line for playhouse disney fell hit her lip , split it open with her teeth and i thought here we go again. it quickly stopped bleeding and we actually were able to see the show.

despite all the injuries, we had an incredible time. really i gotta say i genuinely miss that place. cant wait to go back. next time im gonna be more careful though. lol.

Wow, Mike, those really were some SG tricks you and your daughter pulled. But we forgive you because obviously you learned something from your behavior and it won't happen again. That separates you from a real SG - they just keep doing the same stupid things over and over again.

WELCOME to the SGT! Marsupials will arrive shortly for the official announcement.

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

Mike, you have proven that most guests turn into 12 year olds once they pass through the gate!

Welcome to SGT, and thanks for your confessions. Now, go, sing the Mickey Mouse Club Theme 10 times, and sin no more!

Mike you obviously did not hear about the dude taht rode that bobsleds at DLR and lost his finger when his ring got caught in an overhead rivet or something.

Welcome to the board and please keep posting. Wow you need to join me in the SG debriefing room down the hall and to the left. I used to be an mega SG then they reformed me.

12??? That's at least twice my mental age when I'm in the parks. (No comment on what my mental age is at other times.) :D:

The roof at the end of the ride at SM is low, but it is also clearly visible and going very slowly.

A person would have to be about nine feet tall with arms in proportion to be able to touch any of the support beams during the ride before reaching unload.
