I laughed so hard at the response. That was amazing. I love the guests that have the worst attitude and hate it when you are nice to them. It's like the discount card holders that want more of a discount than they actually get.

She shows me to them and I tell her it is not good until 4. This was a little after noon. She says "oh come on man, you know how much these things cost?" I say "yes I do, but it's not good til 4." She says "we went on the other rides with them." I say "ok then they were doing it wrong, its not good until 4." She walks away with a glare and I couldn't be happier.
Love how she is teaching her kids to try to push others to get undeserved priviledges....The Circle Of SGism! They'll grow up feeling quite entitled...

I love SG who say they have the highest pass in the park and they came in today. This one family tried to get food compted on my friend's cart. The story is usually, "My husband through out the food after someone ran them over with an EVC." I had to bring back food once and they needed the food in the wrapper to switch or get a refund. I heard if they don't have the food or a wrapper, they can go to city hall to get some help. Otherwise they are messing with you to get free food.

I have a key chain that says: Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but your abusing the priviledges.

Also I have a shirt: There is not stupid questions, there are stupid people.

If he threw out the food after getting run over by an ECV, my question would be, What was the food doing on the ground??

hehehehe

This reminds me of someone who came in while I was working at Arby's. We had our sign set to:
Warm up with a
French Dip
$.99 shakes

This SG comes in with her daughter(I think) and they order 2 French Dips, I give them the price and they freak out. The French Dip was $4.29 at the time, but they thought the sign was saying they were $.99. With a little logic it is quite apparent that the $.99 is referring to the shakes, because what would be the point of just having shakes alone up there, plus it is an entirely different line. Needless to say, they did not get their sandwiches for $.99.

Of the interesting things I see on a daily basis, usually the people in wheel chairs or ECV's are fairly understanding that yes, I am going out of my way and even think I am much more than I am. Occasionally, there are those who get panicky if someone's not there as soon as that door opens... and on Epcot that means they're going to get panicky.

Then there are the ones that set the ramps down themselves, which if you do it wrong you're asking for a mishap...

The other night, I had a lady backing off a ramp in an ECV and she stopped on the ramp. Because her back wheels were nearly under her knees, she started tipping back. Instinctually, I brought my hand up to catch her, and because of that panic reaction, I put a little too much force into it and it was as much a hit as a catch. She didn't seem to mind, thanked me profusely, as she had fallen off her ECV sideways the night before and now I had saved her from going over again. Of course, to cover my butt I still told a manager just in case. The next time I saw her she was walking... good choice if you ask me.

Now if I see people on that model of ECV, before they start moving I somewhat emphatically request that they do NOT stop on the ramp.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

It's not an in-park Attraction like it is here, after all. And, aren't WDW Re-Ads only valid in the park they're issued in?

Though, given that the nature of your typical SG, they just see the "Re-Entry" and ignore the rest, lol.
I literally had guests asking for FP for the monorail because they are late for dinner and need to get there in a hurry (and most of the time, not all the time due to the monorails breaking down at bad times, I get to think "hm, whose fault is that?")

As far as I heard, I never heard of Re-Ads being valid on the monorail.

They sit on the curb waiting for the next parade and set the food in front of them in the street. Then when the ECV rolls over it:

"Wah, wah, the ECV ran over my food!" :bawl: "So give me some free stuff!"

"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."

I have had someone plop their rump on my purse at the parade route at DLR. I have never taken back food even when people what smooshed it or stepped on it. What sort of person would put food on the street anyhow, hackpooey goes the old man. My food is next to me on the curb if it is popcorn or in a box. I miss them days of watching SGs jumping over setting guests and plopping in tiny nooks.

At least you think they would have made a scene thus adding to the trauma of their hot dog now having skid marks on it. You do know this goes into that new book, Comping for Dummies with chapters on the various parks and one on food of course.
