I was lucky to get to meet her at a Sci-Fi Convention we had at the Convention Center many years ago. She was a beautiful and gracious lady.

That leaves William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Nichelle Nichols, George Takei, and Walter Koenig, from the original series. DeForest Kelly, Jimmy Doohan, and the actress who played Yeoman Janice Rand are gone, as is Mark Lenard, who played Spock's father; the guy who played Harvey Mudd committed suicide years ago; I don't know for sure if the actress who played Spock's mother is still alive or not.

Grace Lee Whitney (Yeoman Rand) is still with us

Jane Wyatt, who played Spock's mother- Amanda Grayson, died a few years ago @ age 96. Not a bad age for a non-Vulcan.

And the actress who played Spock's mother did pass a while back...

Only ONE other post on Yeoman Rand...I'm not an SGT! specially when it comes to trek, I've been working those conventions for about the past fifteen years...

Don't worry, those of us that are fans of the series and movies know you are not. Sometimes other posters here jump to conclusions based on only conjecture with little or no knowledge about the poster.

I don't think you are an SG.

have some RUM, to the memory of Majel Roddenberry!
