I could never understand people wanting to get in for free or get something for free.

I think that if I am going somewhere like a park for fun, that I need to be ready to pay for it, and all the stuff that goes along with visiting a park.

If you need to get in for free, then you can't afford to go there in the first place.

The one thing I dont miss about working for Disney is random people coming up to me when I was infull Disney costume asking them to sign them in while outside property. I had a guy at 7 - 11 one time ask me to get them in for free. How annoying.

I heard from a manager from foods, that a group of tight time costodial crew sold their main gate passes to some under covered police officers at a near by Mc Donald's. The cast members were all arrested and fired on the spot. Nothing is free. Money does not grow on trees. If you want to go to Disneyland on your birthday for free, you have to register for that and wait for a ticket.

I get free tickets AND free beer, and have no shortage of others requesting sharing. Typically these people are the least likely people to offer a favor in return if I need it.

I went to an off-site class which had some city employees in attendance.
They inquired if I would get them free tickets. Sure, as soon as they get my local tax bill to go away.

I recall providing two cases of premium beer and a park ticket as a gift to a friend who helped me move a large heavy item. He later told someone else I should have given him more beer, since I got it for free..... Not to worry, he won't be seeing any more free items from me.

Bunch of ingrates, if some free beer and tickets weren't enough. Sponges. Moochers. Bums. I hope you tell them that to their face next time he asks for anymore freebies. Don't beat around the bush, give it to him straight. "Friends" who mooch off of their friends aren't friends, they're users.

Back when I worked in the corporate world, I always had moochers asking me for cable ties. Yes, I swear to God...cable ties! I worked for a manufacturer of electrical components, and corp. headquarters was also the home of their cable tie molding division. Twice a year they would let us take home as many bags of overstock, returns, etc. as we could carry. They're actually handy-dandy little things for all sorts of household uses.

On one give-away day, they got a guy out of a speeding ticket. He got pulled over, and the cop noticed several bags of cable ties on his passenger seat. Cops often use them as temporary handcuffs so they did a little barter...the cop got a few bags, and the guy got off with a warning.
