Doctor McKey, I'd like to give a shout out to a few absolutely wonderful CMs that we encountered on our recent trip.
First up was Jay, our server at Cinderella's Royal Table on Dec 3. He was fantastic. Our food was served quickly and it was nice and hot. He made sure all our needs were met. He even surprised us with birthday cupcakes for my mom and one of our travelling companions who were wearing birthday buttons.
Next is Carrie. She was our server at the Liberty Tree Tavern on Dec 4 for the Christmas Party. She too was fantastic. She made sure we were taken care of and even arranged a surprise for my mom who was wearing her birthday button. She brought her out a cupcake just as Goofy was coming to our table and she had a patriot's happy birthday sung for my mom. She did a fantastic job despite our travelling companions who were being rather difficult.
Third is Siham. She was our server at Marrakesh for our Processional dinner package on Dec 5. The dinner she recommended was absolutely delicious. She even helped my mom and I get through a rather unpleasant and completely embarrassing scene when our travelling companions, who never showed up to check in on time, stormed into the restaurant and started yelling at us, saying we'd purposely told them the wrong time for dinner even though they had it listed on a dining card. Siham was able to turn around what was turning into a horrible dinner into a fantastic meal. She wrote "Happy Birthday Leslie" in arabic on the paper table cloth and she arranged for the entertainment to sing Happy Birthday to my mom in both English and Arabic. Siham, you were the best!
Fourth would be the dine line CM I spoke to (sorry I didn't get your name due to a bad connection) after dinner at Marrakesh. She was absolutely fantastic at helping us get all brand new dining reservations for the remainder of our trip seeing as we did not want to eat with our travelling companions again after the scene they had just caused. Thanks to this wonderful CM we got to experience Artist Point for the first time.
Finally, a big THANK YOU to Rebecca, our server at Artist Point on Dec 6. She played a big role in turning around what was fast becoming a nightmare of a trip. She was spot on in her recommendations for what we should have and her great personality just made the whole experience wonderful and Artist Point as a restaurant we will definitely be returning to.
And now I'd like to apologize to all of the wonder DW CMs for bringing probably 2 of the biggest stupid guests to Disney World. They were going to yell at the WL front desk CMs because their room wasn't ready when they got there but I stepped in because I didn't want the CMs to get yelled at for something out of their control. I apologize to the Mousekeeper who had to look after their room. They should not have stiffed you on a tip the first morning simply because their room wasn't ready. And I apologize to any CMs that had to come into contact with them while they were there.
My mom and I had a wonderful time despite our stupid guest travelling companions and it was in large part to all the wonderful CMs we came into contact with and we had some great conversations with all of you. We'll be back in June but this time, without the Stupid Guests.

I have to say, Doctor, that moving into Monorails is probably one of the best moves you've ever made at Disney. It's nice to see you in a place where you're so very happy as you seem to be here. It's also good to have someone else here who is concerned about magic. Between us and a few others, I think we can really make a difference in Monorails. Talk to Andi and see if you can get on the Show committee.
So, are congratulations in order? I am willing to bet they are.

My vacations to WDW change each time I go with my friends and family. We stayed at the All Star Sports. Never again will we stay there. We found out the hard way when our personal items started to disappear after house keeping came. Clothes, souveniers and change was missing. I went to the lobby to complain to the manager and he did nothing. Next time I got to WDW, I will stay with family and friends.

You know why he is happy in his position right? He gets to mess with people and get payed for doing it. I had fun standing on the platform for an hour watching him tell sandal wearers their shoes were untied.Big Wallaby wrote:I have to say, Doctor, that moving into Monorails is probably one of the best moves you've ever made at Disney. When I was in WDW in Sept. we caught up with shorty82 and Big Wallaby. They had another friend with them. My sister was having a blast and a supervisor walking in the area heard us chatting about how the rides were and how we were having so much fun. We got to walk through the emergency exit on ToT and we got comp for Fantasmic! It was a good day at the Studios. :)

Do please post here what the results of the police report are. I'd feel much better knowing this was followed up on.turkeyham wrote:MWe stayed at the All Star Sports. ...
