Hey, everybody! It is I, your Masked Marsupial (not to be confused with the Masked Mollusk... sorry, Masked Magician), making a visit to Disney's back porch.
Getting the Door Control and Train Control switches to stick was interesting. A process I can't get into.
Actually, I was looking at what I have available, and it's going to be September. Right after Labor Day.Shorty82 wrote:Last I talked to him about it it was looking like sometime early February. Originally going to be sometime in January but it had to be pushed forward. It'll be him, hopefully hhsrat, and me coming to invade DL at that time.
Shhh! Please don't mind the absence of Monorail Green over the next few days. Oh, and Coral's gone. I parked it out by Central Shops. Train Control Bypass, Tag Reader Bypass, and Door Control Bypass through the switch from Express to Spur, once clear of switch P5 through Shop, abandoning ship at Switchbeam 3.BRWombat wrote:Has anyone counted the monorails lately? Maybe he took one cross-country.

I wouldn't go swimming in 7 Seas.kurtisnelson wrote:I think he completely disappeared. I rode the entire monorail system today searching for him (or The_doctor) and nobody had seen him all day. When do we start searching 7 seas lagoon for him?
I am now back. I did make a quick appearance on the 10th for the Monorail Evac Drill... tons of fun being over Epcot on top of Monorail Red...Doctor McKey wrote:BW has taken a mini vacation due to family being in from the Left Coast... he shall return to duty in about a week.... fear not SGTers... BW is not floating aimlessly on a stolen Tom Sawyer Island raft around the even seas lagoon with only a weeks ration of water and food... ( he said he wanted a vacation )...
Come search for me tonight after 6. I will be there, will you?Shorty82 wrote:Out looking for Big Wallaby?

Wink wink, ok, but why on top unless he was doing like some people do with trains. I could see that, a large dude hanging ten on the top of the red monorail with some board shorts and a tank top. Do we have a smiley for that lol.Shorty82 wrote:He participated in an monorail evacuation drill involving Reedy Creek Fire Department.

We might now... I'll have to see if I can put one together. Randy could (and would) have done it. :(mechurchlady wrote:I could see that, a large dude hanging ten on the top of the red monorail with some board shorts and a tank top. Do we have a smiley for that lol.
Mine won't be nearly as nice.

Big Wallaby Sighting!
Hi guys :waves: Krissy the lurker here.
This past Sunday was the last day of my trip. :(
I decided to ride the Epcot monorail around one last time as it is my favorite thing in WDW. And who do my eyes behold?? The one the only BW!
I asked him..or rather yelled at him, are you Big Wallaby? My answer came in the form of a huge hug!
We were at the TTC and I got to ride with him to Epcot.(not in front) We talked the whole trip over as no one else was in the car! After that I stayed around a bit and watched him working. I can absolutely see that he really enjoys what he does!
Thanks BW for a great memory!
