She didn't have to!GaTechGal wrote:Does she looked stoned or what? I'm surprised that she remembered the lyrics.
back then all of those type of shows (Hullabaloo, etc.) were lip synced.
(sad, but I remember watching them "live")

I remember watching one of those shows when the had Sam The Sham And The Pharaohs on. Sam was singing the chorus and when he got to wooley bullyyyyyy his voice cracked and jumped an octave. The best part was the surprised look on his face.GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:She didn't have to!

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

I remember watching one where the snyc wasn't right, and even though it was maybe a fraction of a second off, you could see them finishing the "words" before you heard the music.
hmm, time delay?

Re: Rare Cher
I remember that show.
Just for the record, Cher rode the Matterhorn one evening while I was working there. About 1987. She was very nice. Much tinier in real life. Was with her kids. The crew was so excited they forgot to fasten her seat belt. My claim to fame, I was the lead that night, I hit the dispatch inhibit from the tower and ran down to fasten it myself, just so I could talk to her.

"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."
