Oh, it (Small World boats) just seemed smaller to me. Perhaps it being down for so long addled my memory.
And I have to say, the castle does look beautiful. Too bad that's the only way it will have snow on it. Unless someone drops a huge globe over it and places it on a motor that will shake it.
Awww, Sleeping Beauty castle wintertime snowglobe.
That's something that would look pretty damn neat! And probably scare the hell out of you the first time it happened.

My Ruby Princess' dress was originally green with the pink belt; I changed it to red, but the belt color couldn't be changed. Only thing wrong with the dress is that the skirt is so long you can't see she's wearing glass slippers.LittleDollClaudia wrote:LOL, I was just playing around with different outfits and didn't realize when I signed out, it keeps whatever outfit you had on last.
I had better get back to Meez stat!
Oh, btw, that is the Bo Peep 27 dresses dress. It is originally in yellow. Hahahahaha!
In other news, last night I did a search for the origin of fairy tales; pretty interesting. I'd always thought they began as political inneuendo, but it was more like the "chick lit" of their day. I also ran across the original Cinderella. I posted on here about the story about an Egyptian princess whose slipper was carried off by a hawk and dropped in the lap of the king of Upper Egypt, and his search for its owner lead to his finding and marrying her. Turns out, the story originated in China! Do a search for Yeh-Hsien, the Chinese Cinderella; there's a script for reader's theatre that tells the whole story.

"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."

Nah, Disney could just use the same fake snow machine they used last year :) It's not real, but it was close enough, especially for kids who don't normally see snow. My Abby has seen snow, but she considered the Disney "snow" real enough!LittleDollClaudia wrote: And I have to say, the castle does look beautiful. Thanks for the info ulrike.lady ulrike wrote:About Small World, the boats aren't leaking, probably someone was splashing and got water in the boat it happens all the time. And the boats are the same size as they have always been, three adults across, if there is a family of four two adults, two younger than teenage kids than they can fit in one row. Also the last row was always a little smaller than the other rows but it can still fit three it's just tight if there are three adults so we try to avoid putting three adults in that last row, but it can be done. When we got the first of the new boats, three CMs sat in the last row just to see if it could be done, one was super skinny, but the other two were about average adult size and they fit although it was snug.

Oh, and just out of curiosity, do you happen to know if the Small World show will have any other changes when it reopens as normal in January? Or will it be the exact same as it is now minus the Holiday decorations?
I ask because I know that there were a lot of rumors earlier this year and I was just wondering.

Tried to change my Meez back to California Girl, but kept running into problems. The dress was actually yellow, not green, originally. Hopefully I can get helpful advice from Meez about dealing with the problems. It shouldn't take so much effort to change a Meez out of a tiara, dress and glass slippers and back into a T-shirt, jeans and sneakers.

Years ago Judy came up with a term that we use to describe many of the younger employees. Hyperperkyitis! Think about it.Syndrome wrote:Welcome!
Ooo, I'll have to share that picture with Mr. Syndrome. He will love it. He is such a girly man when it comes to gushing over things like the Osborn lights and the frosted castle. When they implanted his Disney Chip I think they ratcheted it a couple notches too strong.
Also, I came up with a new psychiatric problem, aibohphobia, an unreasonable fear of palindromes.
