I so love this movie. I wish that Disney would restore it and put it out on a DVD.

I have a copy, on DVD, no less. I guard that baby with my life.

I understand people have issues with it, but come on.

That's how things were back then. Just accept it as a part of history and enjoy it for what it is.

A story told by an excellent storyteller that brings the characters to life and hey, it gives you a few lessons that you learn too.

I love this movie and I wish that others could see it so then they would know what the heck Splash Mountain is really all about.

Jack hadn't seen it, and when I showed him he said, "Now it (the ride) makes sense!"

I can see how they'd want to keep the ORIGINAL version under wraps (around 2:00 in the video):

"If you are a dee, please don't marry a dee, 'cause then your kids will be dee dee dee." ....Carlos Mencia

"It's the difference between champagne and carbonated pee!" ....Homer Simpson

Nice work, pal

Speaking of PC, we went on Pirates yesterday and a couple was missing!

It was in the chase scene with the old man and the heavyset woman (yeah, I said it nicely) weren't there. It had a creepy feeling to it as it was just an empty space all darkened as everything else was still going.

I hope they are just down for maintenance.

That one always made me laugh, especially since her bottom shakes as she chases him around.

Anybody know if it is temporary?

I have a copy of Song of the South at home... and agree that the PC police need to back off... I have heared of rumblings in the media world that Disney may release SoS in the states with some alterations or atlease a disclaimer.
