Nope. Went straight into the garbage.

She also stuck her finger in it when she was stirring it and thought I didn't notice before she put the lid on.

Blech.

Well, yeah...

But most sporks don't have that fancy serrated edge on it. That's why I posted it. Then you won't have to touch ANY of those rugrat infested utensils.

"He'll be stone dead in a moment!"

Yes, Ham and Eggs I thought so too.

And you know, I reread a previous post in this thread and I have to say, I don't know why anyone would feel the need to ask if I'd ever dump a cup of coffee into anyone's backpack, 'rude person' or otherwise... I never would.

It's just not the way I roll.

Literally. I roll around the parks :D: and I would never do anything that awful to anyone.

Struck me as odd when I read that again today so I'm just sayin'.

I don't think Zazu was commenting that he thinks YOU would be the kind of person to pour coffee in somone's bag, so much as making referance to the time he did just that.

Bru, I never for an instant thought that you might. It was the very incongruity of the suggestion that I thought would be funny.

Please accept my sincere apologies for not putting enough smilies in that post to make my comical intent clear.

Still, if you could have found the backpack belonging to that barrista.... :rimshot: :101: :nyah:  :hysteria: :deadhors: (There, how's that?)

Thanks Mayonnaise and Zazu for the clarification- sorry I was having a moment there. They happen sometimes when my mother starts baying at the moon on me (as she was on the phone before I read that post)

I have got to stop answering the phone. I should just post here instead :D:

anyway sorry about the misread on my part!

thanks for linking the post Mayo I hadn't seen it. I'm just glad you weren't hurt, Zazu when you got spilled on- it's dangerous how hot the coffee is anywhere you order it anymore. I know at the bagel place at the hospital where my dad was they had these little cardboard things to put around the cup so it wouldn't burn your fingers but they were absolutely useless and worse than that they made the cup slippery too! disaster waiting to happen.

the getting whacked with the backpack eminds me of another thing...getting hit in the head with people's huge carry on bags when they're boarding a plane. Backpacks, those big sports bags, maybe that's what's wrong with me one too many hits of the carry ons! Heaven knows I do not need any more brain damage. They hit you in the head like a speedbump and never stop to say they're sorry or anything!

Happy friday everybody!
Bru
