Unintentional politics

Post by BRWombat » Tue Nov 04, 2008 12:59 pm

So my wife consulted with me, as she does, on what she should wear this morning. She specifically asked me if any particular color were associated with either political party or any candidate, because she didn't want to be an unintentional billboard for anybody.

I mentioned the blue state / red state color associations, but she had picked out a nice safe, purple Disney character t-shirt, and had earrings of the character to match. Perfect.

The character on the shirt and earrings? Eeyore. It wasn't until lunch that it dawned on us that she was displaying a donkey. A blue donkey, at that. :o: :)

hate to admit, but I started a "vote in 2012" thread on another board. And the choices are Mickey/Donald or Minnie/Daisy, among others!!!

I voted and ran into some yacht club members. They were happy that the bars were no longer closed on election day and were headed into town to celebrate exercising their voting rights.

I wore my green t-shirt that has the grouch from sesame street. It is old and worn but you can see it says "Sorry, I don't do nice!"
