Virus Alert!

There's several new viruses, as well as email scams, etc., listed at the following link. Note to Mac and Firefox users--one affects Mac, another attacks Firefox.

Most of these require users to be really stupid and install them, especially the one for the mac. I had a customer of ours kick off a customer who had an issue with the Zlob nameservers being hosted on their network. These are well known now and if you keep your anti-virus updated then it should catch them. Although I will caution that anti-virus these days helps, but it is not the ultimate solution, being careful what sites you visit, and what you download. My faith in anti-virus is so bad, I don't even run it on my PC (or my mac).

Thanks for the link though, that was like visiting some old friends. You know, the "friends" who come over, eat all your food, drink all your beverages and then help themselves to a dvd/cd or two on the way out...

The Flu shot will work for the specific strains that were determined to be the most plentiful and threatening, but not all :(
