Overspeed! Ha! Overspeeds can be fun if used the right way. You learn to cheat (when you have to go into braking 3 and when you can go into braking 1, when you can start into the next speed zone early, etc.)Natural Selection Fan wrote:Oh, congrats.
I'm sure you will soon learn to make a friend of horror...
But I gotta admit, the shorts would be a nice change.
Watch those overspeeds!
I love learning ways to be fast. My 13:25 resort time and 8:45 express time show it. Can't do anything with the Epcot time... it's at least 17:00 no matter which way you slice it. And please, don't slice the Epcot beam... it doesn't need it.
Welcome to Monorails!

BW... if you remember Randy from DAK, he said when he helped build those beems that not only did the looe tools in the cement, but they would install them, go home, and then return in the morning to find that they had sank all the way to the top of the cross beem. he tated that he would NEVER ride the EPCOT line... EVER

Mr. Morrow is currently over at Innoventions in Tomorrowland here at Disneyland Park. He says that he would go answer that page, but he's constantly bombarded these days with guests passing through his home (sad, really, people get into his house and he's suddenly expecting company again).GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:I keep hearing him paged, but he never seems to be able to pick up a phone!!!
hehehehehehehe
:p:
Anyway congratulations on your new role. Please, take care to drive the Walt Disney World Monorails in a safe and orderly manner, maintaining a steady speed of 5 mph....
...oh who am I kidding, floor that baby (but stay at or under the speed limit, of course) :D: .

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

You maintain a steady 5 mph and no one will want to dismember you quite as much as I will.glendalais wrote:Please, take care to drive the Walt Disney World Monorails in a safe and orderly manner, maintaining a steady speed of 5 mph....
The speed limit is the speed limit, and the next P-selection down will NOT cover it well enough.
Just don't do 15 from Spur to Express on Switchbeam 2. Poor Lime. She hasn't been the same since.
