You misquoted me. I was listing a large mountain of things wieghing me down.
As for the magic being gone, some people cause it to just dissappear. I believe but when you are up to your chin in water and the crocs are circling then maybe it is time to swim away instead of treading water and believing in the impossible. I am very tired. I said the above for reasons including being hurt by several people recently. I remember when SGT was my home and I came here 3 to 8 times a day and it was happy and fun and I laughed and cried with my friends through thick and thin. SGT is changing for me.

I have some shots from Goofy's Kitchen with other SGTers, I'll post them if
they PM me with permission :)
These are the cutest kids EVER! I love your pics! Give that little Princess a hug for me. Riding Pirates with her twice was one of the funnest things ever! And, yes you may use the pics with Ralphie and Susi in them. You mean I did not break your camera? :D: I forgot to rub your bald head for luck before we left! JUST KIDDING! :p:

The trip was fun and LONG for me. We will NOT do a combined vist the folks in No Cal/Disneyland trip again. One or the other. Guess which trip is gonna win more times? hehehehe...

My back is okay. No relapse, just still recovering from major surgery on my spine. My doc is giving me a hard time about pills now. She wants me off them completely! Sure THAT would bew nice, but I still have pain. But what she fails to understand is that if I do many things in a day, then my back hurts to the point that I HAVE to lie down. I can have a great day and do a LOT, but I pay for it. She wants to take all my pills away. I tried tapering off my pills on vacation and used Arthritis strength Tylenol instead...No go! I know I need to be off the meds, but geeze, can't they wait til one at least goes through PT and gets stronger and further out from the pain that still is there? Doctors! They should have to go through what the patient does in order to be able to understand how to treat certain things. They fucked with my spine, for Buddha's sake! Sorry for the language, just pass over it if it offends you! And the damn thing is really stiff ALL THE TIME!!!!! (I know you boys are jealous of THAT, heeheeheehee...oooooohhh a dirty joke, hehehehe, I'm insane!) It still HURTS!

I am doing well, but noticed that I am much more uncomfortable in Colorado than in California, painwise. Could it be the air pressure at altitude has something to do with the pressure on the joint sacs??? Hmmmmmmmmmm???
I think so. I had a terrible migraine when we returned. I don't know if it was the change back to the desert aridity from the cool moisture of my beloved ocean tinged air in California, but it had me down for two days. I HATE migraines! Probably dwindling estrogen levels as well in the menopausal Princess as well. TMI, Boys???????? Huh? hehehehe

Anyway, methinks they are not handling this the right way. I am very good with my meds. And I have always been a very proactive patient. The model patient, that's me. The doctor's dream! I do NOT misuse my meds and take more than I am supposed to, in fact I take less sometimes. Just like she asked me to and it didn't work. I ended up flat on my back for 3 and half days!  I just think that it is too soon to get off them, til my back can actually stand to stand for more than 2-3 hours a day! So there. :p:

Anyway, a good trip, we met the beloved Ktulu, who I see is now on someone's shit list! Bad boy! ;)

His daughters are the tops. Really swell! (My mad language skilz come from watching too many 1930's Fred Astaire movies! ;) )

The little Princess hung out with the big, fat Princess on Pirates, insisted on sitting with me. I love her! Anyone who likes me, I love! :D: And that adorable baby! Wow, what lucky parents are Ktulu and wife! His wife is an absolute joy too. She is very cool! What she is doing with him is beyond me!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Not really, the beloved Ktulu is just that! Beloved and a new great friend! What a great guy! So much fun to meet all of you and Glendalais too! Wow! That was a cool meeting!

I was in the can when the Bubble ladies came by the Horseshoe. Later that evening, Ralphie told me someone named Elaena called. I was flipped out! I MISSED the Bubble Ladies?????? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Next time ladies, next time I WILL meet you!!!!! Bubble at 40 paces in Frontierland at sundown with the Billy's playing in the background! hehehehe.... ;)

Loved seeeing Disneymom and hubby! Cried big tears when they walked off into the sunset down Main Street to go home!

Next time we come we will have to do it again! I LOVE Goofy's Kitchen! It is so...so...so DISNEY! And that is what we come for the Disney magic, isn't it? Yes.

I am hoping Grumpy Pirate can be at Disneyland for a meeting sometime soon! We will most defintiely schedule a trip around his appearance at the Park if at all possible! Can't wait to meet the Pirate! I wish you could have been there, my friend! I hope your wife is feeling better!

Anyway, back to blahville now and cannot wait for our next trip...who knows when? With the economy the way it is, we have to be more spendthrift with our $$$, just like everyone else. I just want the housing (said without pronouncing the "H" and with prouncing the "G" as in (G) iselle, like they do in Monty Python!)...oh yeah, my train of thought...I want the housing market to turn, so we can escape the desert and come back to California, maybe Santa Cruz or Norco or somewhere. We still are considering Florida, but California is higher up on the short list now.
Love to all!

Susi

Woo! Susi is back! I'm only happy cause that means we're not the only ones missing Disneyland now :p:

I'll scan the pic of all of us from Goofy's Kitchen, let me check with one other person and then I'll post it.

What were those tasty things you kept feeding me even though I said stop?

Right here Suze. Glad you had a good trip.

Work with the doc on the meds for a good balance. Maybe get a pain management specialist involved. I'd much rather have a doc whose aggressive about cutting out the meds then one who keeps writing script.

Being a mile high will dehydrate you. That may be causing the problems after you got home. Keep sipping water to keep the juices flowing.

Would that be the "Ministry of 'ousing" that the Cat detector van was from?

Oh hobie, I am glad that my doc is with me on getting off the meds, but we need to work together to find the right timing and to keep me from still having that pain that then lands me on my back for a couple days after I do activities. I am with you on that one. I want to be med free at some point and I am sure it will be sooner than later. She just wants me to be off them NOW and it is too soon and I have not yet even started PT which I call Monday to make my first appt!
Yep, I thought the same thing about the headache being from dehydration. The dry climate takes it outa ya! I swear I MUST move back to the coast soon, or I will turn into dust like everything else in Denver. It is not pleasant breathing in dust all the time when you just know the dry air sucked the moisture out of the cow pies and you are inhaling them when you breathe out on the plains!...
Now there is a pleasant thought! hehehehe....
I am longing, no, I am LONGING to be back in California at DL and on the coast soaking my tootsies in the ocean! I miss it so much already!

You are correct, sir! That would be one and the same! ;)

Yeah what were those things? And where did they come from? Hmmm...they were tasty little fruity things in a pastry... ;)

No, you are not the only ones missing the magic. Boohoo! I want to go back NOW! And also drop by the beach for a good day at the ocean. Would clear my dry sinuses back up. You know it only takes a day for the evil dry air to do it's dirty work on the body?

I have been over at youtube watching all the great vids of the Billy Hills and laffing my butt off. They are so good. We got to meet the main Billy on our last day in the Park and he was so nice! We just love that show! It is probably our favoritist attraction at DL! Oh and POTC of course! ;)
And of course Soarin' and Grizzly at Dee Cee A!
Oh and the castle and the fireworks and the characters and...and...you get the picture!
Hope to see ya there again. We will have a blast again! Maybe by then, my back will be completely healed up and I will be able to go, go go! They say a year and I should be 100% healed!

The Princess
