I know how bad the drivers are in K-lot. I had to pick up my younger brother when he was sick. If Anaheim police department wanted to have fun, there would be so many cast members getting tickets for running stop signs. :)

^^

Fair enough, and normally I'd let it off with a shrug, but considering her history... I think not.

If it is private property, not much APD can do. Disney on the other hand...

I'll be a traffic cop for Disney on Disney property!

My parents live in Rossmoor. One day the CHP came in. In one week, the officers gave out 200 tickets. It included: speeding, runing stop signs, drag racing and not yeilding to kids unloading from school buses.

When I got out of high school, I went to college. I went to Golden West College. I took my fun classes and then went after the law enforcement classes. We did study all parts of law enforcement.

For extra credit, you could take police ride alongs which were fun. The day that I took my ride along with Seal Beach police, we got a call to Leasure World. Grandpa over dose grandma on pain medication. Grandma died from overdose. Grandpa went to jail after confessing to us. A few months later, grandpa died from a stroke. I was so sad. But, getting back on the topic, if Anaheim PD got into K-Lot, allot of the employees would have big ticket collections. :D:

APD can & does have authority to come into K Lot at anytime. They also give out tickets in K Lot. A few months a go I was given a parking ticket. Who knows why? Took it over to D L Security Guard Shack & the officer just tore it up. He then stated; "Good thing your ticket was from us, otherwise you would have had to wait until tomarrow to speak with APD on property & have them void it. So yes, APD does go in K Lot more than many realize. Not many CMs stop at that last stop sign on way out. :o:

Cool! I *hate* it when people don't obey the laws of the road in parking lots! Glad your ticket got "fixed" ;)

Several years ago I got a $250 ticket in (WDW) Downtown Disney for parking in a handicap space and not displaying a tag. This was OC Sheriff's Dept. I called the Court and they said since I had a legitimate tag if I made a photocopy of it and sent it in with the ticket I would only have to pay $20 for failure to display the tag rather than the $250 for illegal parking.

At at WDW the Orange County Sheriff's Office routinely patrols all the parking lots.

Disney actually allows local PD's and SO's patrol, cite, manage traffic on their property.. their is a natorious speed trap ina mostly CM travled area at the MK. locals dont really bother anyone in the cast lot but do watch out on the named streets....

I don't get the whole covering up the nametag thing, for some reason I hear about it happening in Tomorrowland a lot and nowhere else.

I don't expect to ever be in a situation like that idiot CM, and I hope I'm not, but it strikes me that if I ever were, there's a really simple solution for a CM covering his/her nametag -- which would have the positive side effect of ticking off the idiot.

Simply whip out your digital camera and take a picture of him/her! No name necessary. :D:
