There's definitely a LOT more to this story. This is going to be an interesting case to follow.
Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

That is interesting. The part that gets me, is that a supposed doctor actually wrote a "prescription" to ride TOT. I think that someone (medical board) needs to look into what thats all about.
and if she needs the up and down g-force, let her go on the civilian version of the vomet-comet!!
it just goes to show you the lengths an SG will go to to have their way.
next thing someone will be sue Disney, because pin trading has a calming effect on their ulcer, and he/she was denied that!
Or seeing fireworks help them with vertigo!
sheesh!

What a scam artist. I'll bet she tries to write her admission costs off on her taxes as a medical expense.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Ummm, not taking her side on anything here.....
With that said, I read the article where it talks about all the surgery's she's had & the resultant scaring. While I don't in any way believe she has a prescription for this, I do know from experience that the up & down forces to make me feel better afterwards. I have rather extensive scarring in my abdominal area from my stupid youth and discovered by accident that riding TOT does stretch out & relax the stomach area.
Like I said, not taking her side and not agreeing with the lawsuit. Just telling what I found out by accident.

The purpose of the GAC is to allow a person with invisible disabilities (not mobility or stamina related) to have equal access to attractions as if the disability did not exist, to the greatest extent possible.
It specifically states, on the GAC, that it is not intended to allow bypass of lines.
The only GACs that are intended to allow bypass of lines are the special "green light" GACs given to families on MAW trips. Usually the children there tend to be fragile and cannot last a whole day.
And why does she feel she is entitled to "damages"?

Because she's "special" and the rules don't apply to her. Part of me is hoping (based on the limited information we have) that she gets banned from WDW for life.Cheshire Figment wrote:And why does she feel she is entitled to "damages"?

I think she's a liar and a con artist and that news station's call letters look a lot like WTF! AAAAAND I really hope Disney wins that one! Oh and her doctor must be a jerk too. Just MHO.

That sounds bogus to me. She probably paid the doctor to write a falsely prescription and write some BS.
