I've been reading these forums for a while but this post just brought back some disturbing memories.
I was at River Country one day and this lady is in the pool with a very skimpy bikini. Amost a thong but no quite. Then her boyfriend/significant other comes over and is wearing the same bottom... ugh.
Both were in decent shape but I did not need to see half his butt cheeks hanging out (hers yes... I was still young back then:D :)
To this day the memory of that sight gives me the willies.

Yep, and have some pretty weird beliefs. I attended a Baptist church in rural Indiana as a kid when I lived for a while with my aunt and uncle (they weren't Baptists...I just went 'cause my friends out there did). Girls had to wear skirts...NO jeans or any other type of pants. Going to the movies was strictly forbidden. Peace symbols were actually a sign of the Devil (this was back in the early 70s). The song "Jesus Loves the Little Children" was incorrect because Jesus actually loves white children best.
Seriously...
Glad it didn't warp my mind!
"If you are a dee, please don't marry a dee, 'cause then your kids will be dee dee dee." ....Carlos Mencia
"It's the difference between champagne and carbonated pee!" ....Homer Simpson

Nice work, pal

Yeah, I threw him off the train at the next station.
And what's terrible is he probably had no idea why. I'd guess that you tried to tell him but it probably went right over his head.

Yeah, when I was growing up in the midwest, We lived across the street from a church group..won't name names, but they couldn't dance, couldn't see movies, etc. etc. we use to play with the kids. The brothers were the first to get cigarettes, and later beer, and the sisters...well, they found ways to experience the freedoms that we had.

does anyone besides me remember when disneyland had a dress code? guests had to abide by the dress code or they couldn't get into the park? my sister's ex had a patch on his pants (it didn't cover a hole it was at a time a lot of us can remember when patches were popular...the early 70's) that said "your problem is obvious" and had a guy with his head up his ass...security came up to him and said he couldn't go in with that on...so he simply undid the stitches and took the patch off...

Oh yeah! I remember not being able to go to Disneyland if I was wearing a t-shirt, jeans, or tennis shoes. Today we're both delighted and surprised when guests dress that well!

Yes, and I remember when public high schools had a dress code! LOL!
"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."

I remember when my high school had kids running around with red "Ban the Dress Code" ribbons. Used to be, if we were very good, and it was hot enough, the girls would be allowed to wear pants to school. A few years ago, one of my nieces informed me that now kids want a dress code in school! And I'm hearing that schools that have dress codes that ban gang or inappropriate attire are getting positive feedback from students, parents and teachers.
