Anyhow.. I get a message on my machine to call and talk to my stage scheduler, and when I called her, to be told to call the building. So I hang up, call the building, and speak to my lead: Hey.. this is Patti--'Soandso' said to call and talk to 'theotherlead'. I'm put on hold, and transferred to 'theotherlead' who asks me to SWITCH my shift on Sunday, from 630a-3p to 10a-630p-- WHICH WOULD MAKE ME BE PART OF THE STAFFING TO DEAL WITH THE STUPID MILEY CYRUS COMPLAINTS!!!!!!!!! :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:
Ok, so when these stupid people ordered these tickets, it stated in BIG, BOLD PRINT that the NAMED CARDHOLDER MUST BE PRESENT TO PICK UP TICKETS AT WILL CALL and that no changes would be allowed.
All we have been dealing with, aside from orders for the Trick or Treat party at DCA, has been Miley Cyrus "I need to change the name on my will call order for the birthday concert" calls. It's gotten so bad, we have plans to have a celebration of our own on Monday that we're calling "the end of Miley Cyrus complaints potluck." So for 8 hours on Sunday, I'm stuck with the problems and the SG's that are going to try everything in the book to get me to give them the tickets that they CANNOT have, nor can I change the rules so that they CAN pick them up, and I'm going to be called every name in the book, and be accused of being "the rude cast member that won't let my precious buffy into the Miley Cyrus concert"..
Will you all send calming thoughts my way on Sunday, so that I don't lose my precious patience with one of them and tell them they are an idiot cause they didn't read???
And people wonder why we want a raise....
