Subject: Those lovely ECVs!
Now most people wouldn't run over someone else. And they
certainly wouldn't intentionally do so if that person was their
granddaughter. But I'm sure you all know how well our guests
maneuver in traffic sitting proudly atop an ECV (I love those stupid
electric wheel chairs = Þ).
Well one night last Christmas season, sweeping along near the
fountain by Mickey's house (Toon Town), two of my "colleagues" and I
saw a large family making their way towards the restroom from
Gadget's Go Coaster. Grandma (in her ECV) suddenly and unexpectedly
stops. The rest of the family pauses to see what's the matter, and
Grandma proceeds to plow into her hapless granddaughter, knocking
her over and running the cart up on her leg. My fellow sweepers and
I exchange a quick smirk. But just before I go to help them my
friend adds "She ran her @$$ over!" As I'm helping the mother lift
the cart off her daughter's leg, I'm fighting off laughter and
trying to be serious. Of course I asked them a few times if they
needed a nurse but was denied as they hurried away.
All I have to say to my friend is: "Yup, she did run her @$$
over."

A friend of mine at the Magic Kingdom usually works at night. His
job at the end of the night is to go around the park to collect the
abandoned electric wheel chairs. He will find them all over the
place. I guess they are not interested in their refund. He has
retrieved some electric chairs from area's as far as the Pirate
ride. I do not understand that. During the day, those fat slobs
needed the electric wheel chairs. But at the end they did not need
them. Where did those people go?

I've oftened wondered that myself. They leave those ECV's and walk
all the way out. I was thinking that maybe some of them might be low
on juice and Strollers just hadn't had time to come get them yet.
But what I really don't understand is why people leave the strollers
everywhere at the end of the night. You'd think that at the end of
the night when the kids are tired and they have packages to carry,
that they would definately want to use the stupid stroller that
they've been schleping around all day. That is what I will never
understand!
