I'm wondering from having worked at another theme park how long it usually takes you disneyites to geta security guard to your location. Especially interested in attractions but all will do.
I'd give my right arm to be ambedextrious
Depends...
When its a lost child it seems like forever I guess that is mostly because the child is usually slightly hysterical
When its an unattended package it seems almost instantly that they are there.
Where as at Legoland (I used to work there) the security would be there quickly cause they didn't have a lot to do

These are the rafts TO the island. Not AROUND, not OVER, not UNDER and not THROUGH. Thank you for riding T. Saywer's shuttle service please visit again.
Just depends how serious the call is, how the staffing is and what's going on in the park itself. I think that lost children are a low priority. I just used to walk them over the the l.c. center. Easy enough, especially if you're wearing a radio. However, if there is an assault, they will scoot a little bit faster. One of the reasons they ended up putting the bridge in front of Pirates in N.O.S. was because the square would get landlocked in the summer. In 1970, it took 20 minutes to get the guard and a nurse on a C.F.A. run over from Main St. to the Mansion, and the poor guest died in the loading area. (It was an elderly man having a heart attack). I don't think I've ever seen security running to face any situation except during the strike when the poohbahs from the union stormed the Main Gate and allowed themselves to be arrested. Then, every guard and supervisor in the place came running. God forbid that they destroy company property.

It would take a while for them to get to the location. One time, a guest told me there was an unattended package and security came within five minutes!! Why??/ Because one of them was backstage smoking a cigarette. LOL :D I went backstage and told them and they responded.Stduck wrote:Depends....
