I'm pretty sure this has already been posted, but I'm too lazy to dig it up so I'll post it here because I thought it was freaking hillarious. I'm not that big of a fan of South Park, but for some reason, this episode caught my eye, about Cartmanland. It starts out that Cartman's grandma passed away, Cartman gets a million bucks from her, and he wants to buy his own theme park just for himself, and this is the reason why:

Yup, I remember that one. It turns out quite ironically for poor Cartman.

I guess it should remind me that at the same time I pray for no crowds, the WDW bean counters are saying the opposite prayer...and I'd better hope that theirs is answered more often than mine or there won't be any theme parks to go to. Sorta like the last time I went to Old Chicago in Bolingbrook, IL many, many moons ago (anyone else remember that cool indoor amusement park...home to the second-ever Arrow looping coaster?). I thought it was so awesome that the park was so dead that we didn't even have to get off the coaster to ride again. It closed for good only a couple months later.

[Theme Park Where]

Sorta like the last time I went to Old Chicago in Bolingbrook, IL many, many moons ago (anyone else remember that cool indoor amusement park...home to the second-ever Arrow looping coaster?). I thought it was so awesome that the park was so dead that we didn't even have to get off the coaster to ride again. It closed for good only a couple months later.

Yep, drove past it on my way to and from college quite often but could never convince my parents to take us there when my brother and I both worked at Great America and could go there for free any time.

I did the same roller coaster trick at Boblo Island (anyone remember that one?) after my senior prom. We made the drive to Canada, bought KFC for a picnic lunch, took the ferry to the island, ate lunch, rode every ride in the place in an hour, got sick, and went home again. We were so tired from being out late the night before, and it's not a good idea to ride one roller coaster after another without stopping right after eating a greasy fast food lunch. When there are no lines to wait in, there's no buffer between rides. I learned to use slow rides and longer waits to give my body time to reset between thrill rides. :D:
