Yeah, it was better than it needed to be. Plus you gotta admire a director who wouldn't cut just one, highly appropriate joke, just to keep from getting a PG rating.Elena (aka: Bubble Lady) wrote:oh, it wasn't THAT bad...kinda cute actually
I've been waiting for the critters on that farm to show up as an animated TV series. You really do have all the ingredients needed.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

I'm betting he did not mean to insult Disney.
I work in the entertainment industry and in fact my husband has written for Disney.
When someone mentions the premise of a movie my mind automatically goes to the studio who makes the movie.
Hockey mom from small town becomes president is in fact the type of movie Disney is looking to buy.
The "Bad Disney" movie, that's just something we all say. It only really works for Disney as they have such a clear type of movie they make. I certainly do not think any of the movies I have sold to Disney have been bad. It's just one of those industry things people say. Every industry has their own version.
I do not know Matt Damon, I am not Matt Damon so I could be super off base. Just my 2 cents.

In case you didn't know "Good Will Hunting" was put out by Miramax (a Disney Company)
I agree that I see Disney buying the rights to a similar story and it making it to the top ten it's opening weekend.

Yeah. We went with a bunch of MouseFest folks to see it at AMC Theater at Downtown Disney, thinking we'd all get a kick out of seeing the new HM movie while at WDW. Boy, you should have heard everyone complaining about the movie after it ended. :(LittleDollClaudia wrote:Uhhh, Haunted Mansion.. :shudder:
