CMs and First Aid
Re: CMs and First Aid
But the most important aspect of dihydrous monoxide is, you can't live without it, either! In fact your body is 70% dihydrous monoxide! You also need it for disinfection of apparel, bodies, diningware, and it also keeps plants alive, unless you overdose them on it! Fish and other creatures are known to be specially adapted to live in it, and die if removed from it! Amazing stuff, dihydrous monoxide!

For instance, by lowering the tempature, it can be use as a thermal transfer substance!

I have to tell you about DHMO, true story!
I first learned about it as a problem, because someone had posted a warning about it in my son's classroom at the college. The teacher, knowing I was a nurse, asked me if there was any danger
I told her to not panic, it was only dangerous under certain circumstances! ;)

If you go to the web site, they have a clip of Penn and Teller getting a petition to have it banned!
(of course, pirates have know about the danger for years!!!)

Some people unwittingly BATHE in the stuff! And I've heard the submarine lagoon at DLR is full of it!
"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."

Ahhhh, the good ol' DHMO scare. Good to see it pops up from time to time. I had my first experience with this 'scare' back in 1995 when I first got on the internets.
