Saw the same thing at the airport. A cart full of people and the SG just stands there as the horn blows. One dude just stood their staring at a monitor. They are everywhere

Re: Stopping People
At first, I like this idea, but then I get thinking about the logistics of it. You see, if one person does it, how long until a SG sees it and thinks, "That's a really good idea! Rockets would get everyone out of my way!" Can you imagine if they were getting on the Liberty Belle in the wrong place and decided that someone was in their way? Rocket + Steam Engine = BadGRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Hmmm, watch "Death Race 2000" (THE original) and outfit the ECV like those cars!!!

True, But I was thinking more along the lines of Sylvester Stallones car, with the big knife, or "Frakensteins" car, with the row of teeth, and so on!!Big Wallaby wrote:At first, I like this idea, but then I get thinking about the logistics of it. I do that too! Do you also loosen the cap so that when they make contact they also get a free shower? Worth the price of half a bottle of coke to me!Syndrome wrote:Even worse than the stoppers are the SGs who walk backwards. I mean, walking backwards in a crowded theme park...are you insane? Why are you even in the gene pool? When I see one of those coming right at me, I hold out the pointy end of my water bottle at mid-back level and let nature take its course.

I was always tiny for my age...my dad taught me to walk with my (quite bony) elbows pointed ever so slightly outwards. ;) That way, when people weren't watching where they're going (or just didn't see me) they'd get jabbed right in the side. Worked pretty well!

I would go with paint balls as they can wash out of most clothes and leave a big mess plus they sting if hit in the right spot but not take out cars and boats lol.Big Wallaby wrote:At first, I like this idea, but then I get thinking about the logistics of it. Nothing like a nice sticky diet-coke to get an SG's attention!Zazu wrote:I do that too! Do you also loosen the cap so that when they make contact they also get a free shower? Worth the price of half a bottle of coke to me!
I did that one year, and DW thought I had stumbled when someone did an abrupt stop and turn when we were at epcot. The guy was NOT happy, as it was pretty hot. I told him that he could just go over to the fountain and stand there with the kids that were getting wet, but he wasn't all that amused!! hehehehehehe

Re: Stopping People
Has anyone tried making fountains out of Diet Coke and Mentos? It was on the Today show a couple of years ago around the 4th of July. I tried it and it works! PM me for details!GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Nothing like a nice sticky diet-coke to get an SG's attention!

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.
