Jerry Reed, dead at 71. Famous for his role in Smokey and the Bandit, the song Eastbound and Down as well as a few other songs he wrote.

One of my ALL time fav songs! Still sing along with "She Got The Gold Mine" "I'll be carrying food stamps" was a great ending! Jerry was extremely creative & so very funny. Another talent in Heaven.
