At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

AWFUL day today at the clinic, everyone who didn't come in over the weekend and holiday was there! And Mad because we had a wait. :mad:

If blaming Donnie doesn't work take all the blame yourself. Then give them the full history of (insert holiday). They'll try to change the subject or edge away. Don't let them go until you're done with your ten minute presentation. Charts and graphs always add credibility. I can pretty much guarantee they'll never bug you again.

I posted on 4 boards that I was going to San Antonio. This site really was not as enthusiastic or supportive as the other sites so I gave up and did not try to check new posts to this site until last night I think it was. I almost did not go but people have been working with me to stand up to mom.
I may be behind on gossip, events and other stuff. I really need to cut back for a while as I catch up and this seems the thing to cut out of my life.
One airport SG story
I was tired and was given a 2 hour run around just to get a wheelchair.
I was dragging my suitcase over to the second TSA as the first was closed. As I am waddling about 4 to 6 people are walking and will not part so I can go on. Instead of stopping and waiting for them to go around me or me going around them I strongly and firmly said MOVE. I plowed right through them and they parted as they saw me coming. Sort of like an old cow bellowing MOOOOOOOve.
