Freeloading SGs!!!

Post by DLRFantasmic!Dan » Sat Aug 30, 2008 12:22 am

So, I witness something tonight on my way home from DL. While waiting for the tram, I saw a young adult between late - teens to early twenties, I believe, go up to random guests asking for their park admission ticket so that he and his friend could go into the parks. Luckily, he got rejected. I wanted to report him, but he left the area rather quickly and couldn't get a good enough description at night. When he was asking, I wanted to inform them that the Main Gate DO check for handstamps. I wonder how he was going to pull it off.

Any thoughts or comments??

Wow... That's pretty crazy. I'm glad that he didn't get someone's ticket.

Oh, that reminds me of something that happened the last time I was at DCA;

It was near closing time, and I was rushing to get in line for Midway Mania one last time. I made it, I was one of the last people they let in before it hit 9:00. I had made it past Potato Head was about in the same area that is next to where they have ODV set up during the day, when this guy comes over to the queue and asked us (the general people waiting in line) "I'll give you guys 20 bucks if you let me cut in line." all of us in line ignored him (it was one of those awkward moments) and after a pause he said something like; "Nobody? Aw, forget you then." And walked away.

It was pretty odd. But in retrospect, its pretty funny how desperate people can get at closing time.

It sounds like he was going to sell them.

There was another thread here, about people getting old tickets, and selling them to tourists that want to "get a bargain" on tickets. The tourists pay the money and show up at the parks with worthless tickets.

Doesn't he realize that he'd have to give $20 to the person who let him cut and also every single other guest in line behind that person? At least, he sure as hell would if I were behind whoever would let him do it because he's not just cutting them...he's cutting me too.

I'd have asked everyone behind me if they wanted $20 each to let the guy in :D: I can hear the cheers now...

Now me, I woulda taken the 20.00 and give him my place in line and I would have left. I am not real Toy Story oriented, not one of my favorite movies. I just am not a Pixar fan, except Wall-e. I don't know why, never have been a fan of Pixar.
Of course I would not have been in line for one last ride on TSMM anyway, but if I had, I would make 20 bucks and get out of line and give my place to the guy. That way he would not be cutting, he would just take the place of someone already there....But I would never let him pay to cut... Oh, HELL NO! That's just not fair to everyone else who might be behind me. A big no-no...
