Oh they do. It's not that I don't know how to make change, it's more of an anti-fraud thing (people trying to rapidly change the amount they give in order to confuse the cashier). We have to break out the calculator and do the math.

When I'm cashier, and something costs $4.50, they usually give me a $5.00 bill. Then sometimes they give me an extra 50 cents. I just add however much they give me to the change.

And tour groups acually do that??? I'd just say "I'm sorry, we only sell hamburgers, but not cheeseburgers without cheese." :D:
Just checking, but you do realize that they're giving you the extra change so that that they get only bills back? Being a guy, the only place to put change is in my front pockets. Too much change becomes bulky, heavy and annoying.

I was gonna say that would have been my guess!

"that will be $6.35 sir"

"Here's a 20, no thats a five, give me back the five and here's a 10, now I have the 35 cents in change, but its two quarters, so I need fifteen back!"

Sheesh!!!

No!

"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."
