Best souvenir in DCA: Two pairs of golf socks with a tiny little Mickey and Minnie applique on the cuff for six bucks! I found them at the Grizzly River Rapids shop. I buy two pair every time I go. Fun and functional. :p:

Best place to go at DTD is House of Blues. DH likes ESPN Zone, it's the only way I can drag him to DLR as often as I do, promise him he can sit in a La-Z-Boy recliner and watch the game.

What bargains have other SGT posters found?

As far as my 2-year-old is concerned the best bargain is the 50 cent "Fun Pops". Hell of a lot smaller than the $3-4 whirly pops or fun pops and he's more likely to finish it too. I thought it was the best bargain when I worked there and now that I have kids I still think it's the best bargain.

Best Bargain?
My Annual Pass, Used to Death.....
And buying pins cheap from Disney Store, then trading them for much better ones with the CM's. Added bonus- Meeting the CM's!
Plaza Inn Cobb Salad (Big!) with a refillable Drink is great, too. :)

My best bargain? my Disney ID. It gets me into the parks for free, allows me to park for free, and the best part is Disney pays me to have it. :)

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…
and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

i had noticed before summer (and into summer) that the price of an adult ticket had dropped from $68 to $66...a BIG surprise, but thought that was as an incentive to get more people into the parks...imagine my surprise when they jumped up to $69! parking was still $12 as of july 17th

I always ask if there is anything on sale when I go into a shop at WDW. Usually there's an area where a few things are marked down. Found a nifty pair of tan socks with zebras and giraffes on them at AK for $3.50, and some marked down t-shirts at various shops. Got a nice embroidered tote bag at AKL on sale, and a limited edition Tinkerbell watch for five bucks. Oh, and a cool photo album for half price at Pop Century's gift shop. I'm always looking for a good sale.

That is a great idea, thanks for the tip!

I actually did the math on this.

For each hourly DLR CM, the company spends ~$39,000 on entry benefits.

For each hourly WDW/Florida-site CM, the company spends ~$55,000 on entry benefits.

All of those Cast ID entries, Maingate uses, and Comp Tickets, really adds up, lol. And this is assuming each CM only receives two comp tickets, and only visits their Home Resorts with their Maingate.

Well, I didn't take it that far in my thought process, but it works for me!

And do not forget, we get the coolest tickets there are... not too many people out there have E-Ticket park admission media!
